Before you upload a single certificate, it's fair to ask who you're handing it to. So here's the honest answer: no stock photos, no invented backstory.
An independent company, not a faceless brand
TradeGuard is built by Rebel Studios, an independent software company based in Fredericksburg, Virginia. We're small and founder-led. That means when you email support, you're reaching the people who actually build the product, not a ticket queue three time zones away.

Why we built it
Subcontractor compliance is where good contractors quietly get burned. A sub's policy lapses, nobody notices, and then a worker gets hurt on site, and the claim lands on the general contractor who assumed everyone was covered. The work of preventing that is real, but the tools for it were either enterprise systems priced for the top of the market, or a spreadsheet and a calendar reminder that everyone forgets to check.
TradeGuard exists to give small and mid-size general contractors and property managers the same protection the big firms buy: tracking every COI, W-9, license, and endorsement, and warning you before coverage lapses, without the enterprise price tag or the enterprise sales call.
We're early, and we won't pretend otherwise
You won't find a wall of customer logos or a “trusted by 5,000 contractors” banner on this site, because we'd rather earn your trust with a working product and a real person on the other end of the email than with numbers we haven't earned yet. Transparent pricing, a free trial with no credit card, and your data exportable and deletable on request. That's the deal, and it doesn't change once you're a customer.
